Wrapping Paper Wall Art
Hi friends,
Here to share simple home decor tips, tricks and hacks that I’ve tried and succeeded at, or tried and failed at… first one is the best wall art hack I’ve found to date. I love me some upcycling and this is the perfect DIY for that! Whether you use a new roll of wrapping paper, or preserve some from a gift received, this is the perfect budget-friendly way to get some wall art. I got these beautiful rolls for only $6 for a giant roll! I loved it so much I decided to frame them and am so glad I did because they make the perfect kitchen art.
Materials
You will need:
Frames (Rectangle ones are thrifted from Value Village, Square ones from Michaels)
Wrapping Paper of Choice
Scissors
Washi tape or scotch tape
Pencil and ruler (optional)

Measure your wrapping paper. Here I used the mat that came with the frame. You can just trace it with a pencil or I just made a general approximate cut. The cut doesn’t need to be perfect if you’re using the mat.
2|
If you’re going to use the mat, attach the cut out wrapping paper to the back. Here I just used some washi tape so that I can easily remove it if I feel like changing up the art.
3|
You should be left with something like this. If you aren’t using a mat, make sure you measure and cut the wrapping paper to size edge to edge.
4|
Insert your mat or wrapping paper art back into the frame and voila!
Not sure if this DIY even warrants a whole blog post, but definitely an easy one at that. Unfortunately the wrapping paper I got from H&M home is sold out now, but I would definitely keep an eye out on their site for more restocks! Super affordable. I’ve linked some other cute options, and this doesn’t just end with wrapping paper! This would be a great idea for leftover wallpaper (or to preserve some from a reno) or even recycled calendar art.
