Parisienne Bridal Shower (Free Printable)

Hi friends,

Here to share another pre-COVID celebration - this one was a Parisienne themed bridal shower, playing homage to one of the travel destinations the couple had visited. We booked out a condo party room and transformed the place into the perfect afternoon tea party.

The games

As for guest activities, we had a few games prepared. We created printed handouts with the games and provided pens and markers for each guest to write down their answers. We then got everyone together and went through the answers with the bride. The “winner” to each game also received a little loot bag gift of face masks.

  1. how well do you know the bride?

    • Come up with a list of questions that will test how well each guest knows the bride

    • Examples of questions can be:

      • What’s her favourite pizza topping

      • What’s her favourite bubble tea store / flavour

      • What’s her shoe size

      • What was her first job

      • Where will they go for their honeymoon

      • Her favourite thing about the groom

    • Go through the Bride’s answers with the group and see who knows her the best!

  2. Would she rather

    • Come up with a list of this or that questions for the bride to answer

    • Examples of questions are:

      • Bubble tea or water

      • Clean the washroom or clean the kitchen

      • Chocolate or vanilla

      • Pho or ramen

      • Pizza or fries

    • Have the guests answer the questions ahead of time and go through the Bride’s right answer all together

    • We made this extra fun by giving the groom the questions ahead of time. He recorded his answers to the question via voice clips and we played the responses on the speaker with the guests as a fun little quirk to the game!

  3. How old was she?

    • Ask the bride’s parents for some childhood photos of the bride

    • Pin them on a board and ask the guests to guess her age in the photos

    • Go through everyone’s answers and see who has the most right guesses

  4. How (house) wifey are you?

    • This one is one of my favourites! A type of “Price is Right” game with household items. We set up a “worksheet” with a bunch of house hold items printed.

    • Ask the guests to guess the price of each item, regular priced at your local big box store (i.e. Walmart, Costco, etc.)

    • Then reveal the answers to see who knows their household item prices!

    • We’ve linked a free printable down below for this worksheet. All you need to do is search up the prices at your local store as your answer key.

Polaroid guestbook

We set up a polaroid guestbook station which was a huge success ! In my opinion, one of the best ways to help photograph the memories while also providing guests a way to leave thoughtful messages for the bride.

See our blog post here on how to create your own polaroid guestbook!
